About the Journal

The Journal of Constitutional Law Society (JCLS) is an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on constitutional law and related legal studies. The journal publishes scholarly articles that contribute to the development of constitutional law theories, practices, and contemporary legal issues at national and international levels. JCLS welcomes original research articles, conceptual articles, comparative legal studies, and critical analyses related to constitutional law, state administrative law, legislation, democracy, human rights, governance, political law, judicial review, constitutional institutions, and other interdisciplinary legal studies connected to constitutional law development. The journal also accepts scientific works in State Administrative Law, Government Science, Political Science, and International Relations, provided that the discussion is relevant to constitutional law and state governance development.

JCLS is published by the Center for the Study of Constitution and Legislation (Pusat Studi Konstitusi dan Perundang-undangan/PSKP), Universitas Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. JCLS is an open-access journal that provides immediate and unrestricted access to all published content in order to support the global exchange of knowledge and increase the visibility of scholarly legal research. All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope and publication standards.

The journal is published twice a year, in March and September. JCLS invites academics, researchers, legal practitioners, judges, legislators, policy makers, students, non-governmental organizations, and observers of constitutional law and state administrative law to contribute their scholarly works.
